Anyway - I sooooooo appreciated this deeper dive and open door to your world.
You mentioned the word “neurotypical” instead of normal and I applaud you for that; it also begs the question I have pondered for several years now - what is “neurotypical” anyway and do any of us anywhere fully achieve that title?
Shared this post with family and will continue to be a “Tyler Pyro” and spread the flame 🔥
Ahh man, it means the world I feel safe and able to just spill it all out here. Seriously, I've never had a place like this. And I so agree, neurotypical is just majority rules :)
“Give me a life turned to eleven, even when it hurts.” YESSS. I feel this truth so deeply in my bones. You are a wonder. So grateful for every single thing that makes up who you are.
I listened to the podcast episode! Loved it. Loved both of yours and Ash's poems at the end. I am curious about your tattoos. Does getting those ever overwhelm you? Or are you used to the pain? Thanks for always be an honest voice 🙂
What are some things you wish your teachers would have done for you to make school an easier place to be in? I have taught middle school for 19 years and often have beauties like you in my classroom. Being at an 11 (😉) makes so much sense and your descriptions have planted seeds as reminders of how they may see and feel in the environment around them. Keep talking about this, I’m listening and learning.
Wow. I just listened to this one this morning. My disco ball analogy was not off from this! I will send this post to my nephew. He’s 11. I think he will really appreciate it. (And giggle at the mention of love making) But it’s so important that he knows that we see him. And that we are trying our best to understand what it’s like to be him. Thank you for sharing your insight!
I am so thankful for who you are and that you share your youness with us so freely.
I'm so thankful you give me this place to feel safe. It means the world.
Enlightening - Engaging - Enformative
(had to stick with the “en” 😇)

I LOVE how open this is and everything about it! :)
💜🌻🤍-So thankful for ya and who YOU are.
So genuinely you. Been looking forward to this Signal Fire all week. 🙂🙃
You're magic. Just sayin.

So too, are you. For reals.

Weirdly, getting tattooed is amazing and I love it. It so hyperfocuses the sensation to one spot, that everything else kinda gets to go away.
