Here’s the dealio foolio:
How To Do Everything - The raddest little interactive doo-hickey from the New York Times is the weirdest amount of simple fun I’ve had in a bit. Give it a whirl, see what you can learn. Why not?
You’re Underestimating Kindness - Turns out, being kind pays far, far, far more dividends than we previously understood. Not only for those on the receiving end of said kindness, but for us. Worthy read and even worthier reminder that we all could stand to be a
littlelot more kind. Every. Damn. Day.Churches Turned Into Homes - In a children’s book I wrote once called The Tear Savers, the opening lines say:
There once was a boy who lived by the sea he lived in a house he built in a tree There once was a girl who lived in a town she lived in a church they almost tore down
Well turns out, people DO turn churches into homes, and I’ll be struck down right now if these aren’t stunning and jealousy-inspiring. Yes, envy, that sin.
Bad Sisters - I can’t remember if I’ve already spoken about this absolute f’ing gem of a show, so I’m going to talk about it again. Ireland. Sisters. Comedy. Tragedy. Hilarious. Sarah and I have had more fun watching this than almost anything else lately. Fully endorse.
Sound and Vision by David Bowie - Because Bowie + Berlin years = genius. This song just kinda felt rad. I like it. You should try.
Bear Necessities - Yep, Montana throws you curveballs, and this week, it did just that. We had this visitor on our deck for over an hour, until Fish, Wildlife, and Parks had to come tranquilize and relocate him, as he was a teenager bear on his own, and needed to get away from the things of man to avoid more mischief and a much sadder ending. Don’t worry, I held his paw the whole time he fell asleep.
@tylerknottgregsonAmazing but valuable teaching moment today, to not put bird seed and sunflower seeds out while bears are still in hyperphasia and preparing for hibernation. This is Blitz the bear and luckily his story ended happy, he was tranquilized and is being relocated somewhere far from where we humans have stolen all their habitat. After carrying him down, I held his hand awhile, until he was snoring loud as can be. Be will sir. I love you oh so. Also, thank you to Fish Wildlife and Parks and your amazing wardens who were so gentle and kind. #tylerknott #tylerknottgregson #bear #blackbear #wildlifeTiktok failed to load.
