Blink & Vincent are probably my 2 favorite Who episodes. I’ve been thinking for a while that I need to try the new season & haven’t yet. This inspires me to.
Also, I am always a champion of the power of PLAY as well. 🎉🫶
I agree wholeheartedly about episode two. The dancing and signing at the end was uncalled for. Although, it was cool that the final lost chord played by Paul and John is the last chord in "A Day In A Life"
Unwritten rules [the retail addition] ... 1. be nice to the cashiers. Smile and thank them. 2. [ please] put your clothes back on the hangers in the fitting room. ... if I think of any more I'll edit.
Oh! Before I go ... Tyler, why don't you like board games? [because I don't either]
Ok fine. I will watch Dr Who! But I’m going to start with this new one and then if I get into it circle back to the classics! But you really have to watch All of us Strangers!!
I have been missing these lovely visits with you two! It’s great to see you you at it again! Hopefully you can create one on your trip!!
I love the idea of finding local bakeries! As a pastry chef, my favorite thing is to find these hidden (or not hidden) gems when traveling to experience and potentially find new ideas.
My side hustle is admin work for a wedding styling company and the whole industry here in Australia is unusually quiet. So it’s not just you.
Chia puddings were definitely a big thing some years back, but they are still around for a reason… a delicious, gloopy, weird-looking reason… my favourite is made with pandan and served with mango puree… yum.
Unwritten rule for my life is “don’t be a dick”. Whenever I am faced with a choice, I choose the less-dickish option.
Safe travels! If you ever come to South Australia I will 100% be your tour guide. Lots of great bakeries here!!!!
Mine is probably considered a written rule instead of an unwritten rule because we all learn it as children but I just feel like SO MANY PEOPLE forget (or choose not to) say please and thank you! I think we all need to say please and thank you more often, even if it's someone's "job" to help us. ie) I use please and thank you when speaking with a server at a restaurant, a customer service agent on the phone, a sales associate at a retail store.
Sarah, I love your bakery testing goal!! If you guys are ever in Calgary, AB, Canada, I invite you to try Manual Latruwe -- it's a Belgian style bakery and EVERYTHING is delicious. But I especially love their hazelnut twists (and a cinnamon bun that is actually like a flakey pastry instead of a heavy bread like dough.)
Also, I hope your fam try the chia puddings because I 10/10 agree with you that they are so delicious!! I also just learned (on a Netflix documentary on the guy biome) that 100g (3.5oz) of chia seeds has 34g (1.2oz) of fibre! Yay!

Absolutely worth starting it! Give yourself time to settle in :)
Doctor Who second episode Spoiler Alert!

It's good to know it's not just us! I wish that would change for all of us, times are getting SCARY. Also your life advice is simple but so damn good.
