3. These Northern Lights Photos I Snapped - We had a rare, very rare, burst of Northern Lights activity a few weeks back, and I had my real camera on hand to snap a few pics. All handheld and no tripod, so they aren’t as tack sharp as they could be, but I’ll be buggered if they aren’t lovely and just proof that the universe is big, beautiful, and we’re so lucky to be in it. 4. Boredom Is A Superpower - Kids these days, am I right? Always fighting against boredom, and with mobile phones, never actually experiencing it anymore. What a shame, as I’ve long believed there are few better catalysts for creativity than boredom. Turns out, I was right. This article says it’s a superpower, and that leaning into it can do wonders for a lot of different aspects of our lives. Rad.

5. I Wish I Was Sober by Frightened Rabbit - The anniversary of Scott Hutchison’s passing was 3 days ago, and while it’s a somber reminder about how much mental health matters, and how we need to be doing so much more to support those that struggle, it’s also a chance to remember Scott, his music with Frightened Rabbit and solo, and what a huge difference he made, and continues to make. This song always feels so important, and I thought it timely. Also if you have time, check out the charity in his honor, Tiny Changes. They do so much good.
