Midway through a month, here again, we ask Time if it’s the god behind all things. How are we almost at Thanksgiving? I know not. Especially this week, I played nursemaid to Lady G all week, poor thing caught Covid somewhere in Texas. We were the only two people I saw still wearing a mask on the plane too. Go figure. Anyway, here’s some links to cool her fever:
I asked Sarah what would be the fastest way to get her to recover…she said joining this here community, and helping us pay the price for all these stupid rapid tests hahaha:
Here’s the scoop, kids:
100 WTF Facts - I love a good fact, me, the weirder the better. I Love when someone tells me something that I think “That can’t possibly be true,” and then it is, and then I giggle, and then I sit flabbergasted at for a spell. These are those. Here’s one: Al Roker once pooped his pants at the White House.
New Discovery On Living Cells - I’ll just spoil it, but I do encourage you to go read this article because it’s just beyond interesting, and the understanding of how they got to this knowledge is fascinating, and I love science. Bottom line, here’s what they found: There are more living cells on this little planet of ours than there are grains of sand, OR, STARS IN THE SKY. Soak that one up for a minute. Read this, your brain needs it.
The Stories Behind 8 Famous Photos: I love photography, clearly, as it’s paying my bills (you can help do that too, if you join this little community!) for over 16 years. What I TRULY Love, is learning the stories behind the photographs. Here are 8 famous photos and the stories behind them all. Dig it. Wanna know why Einstein stuck his tongue out for that iconic photo? Now you will know.
CHASERS OF THE LIGHT CALENDARS! - I know, shameless self-promotion, but if I don’t promote myself, this place literally won’t stay afloat. We make a calendar, analog and beautiful, each year, and this one is the best I’ve ever made. It’s stunning friends. Pre-order now so I know how many to get!
5 Ways to Have Life-Changing Ideas - Sometimes if we need to shake things up, it all starts with a seed, a single seed of inspiration. Sometimes, we need some life-changing ideas to begin again. Creativity can be built, my friends, and this article has some wonderful tips on how to do more of that.
Ends/Begins by East Forest & Marieme - This is just beautiful, and feels like a little massage to my soul. I don’t know what else to say besides, yes. Thank you. Yes.
Auntie Anne’s Pretzels At Home - Ooh, Sarah is doing this TODAY, and I cannot wait to eat them. Pro-tip: If you aren’t too cool with playing with LYE to make these, you can just bake (yes in the oven) some baking soda to create a safer alternative. MMMMM.
I love you all. Be good.
Oh my goodness....you deliver so much insight, to random subjects...to information I needed to know about, and yet didn't , until you told me. Fabulous. Awakening. Loving. I so look forward to your postings.
What can I say? For the tiny amount you ask, for all you provide. The best therapist in London, would charge your subscription multiplied over decades, for one session. I guess you do it just for love of humanity ❤️. I don't know why, otherwise. I feel your heart and soul, in everything you send us. Thank you. And that isn't saying enough....I know.
Get better soon, Sarah! I, too, still wear my mask and I, too, also caught Covid recently. Take care!
