Radio Garden - thank you once again Tyler!

For a beautiful present that would never have shown up under my Christmas Tree ...

A life giving gift - a garden planted in fertile soil around the planet with roots stretching far and wide - touching and becoming one - fed by the brilliance of light chasers known and unknown. Watered by our tears for longing and of joy in finding home with siblings we have yet to meet.

May we throw off encumbrances this day and bask in the featherlight moments of just being - there...wherever there may be...breathe it in...

grace and peace to all of you -

sparks, embers, and five alarm fires!

Blaze on 🔥

Thank you for sharing! It sounds amazing. I'm always looking for new music. I started doing Sarah beth yoga videos to help soothe. I find her voice alone does it for me but I also like how there's different lengths ranging from 10 minutes to and hour. Yoga for whatever the day will allow.

You're so welcome! I hope you have fun with this scattered throughout your yoga-ing. :)

When things get really bad, when the intrusive thoughts are winning, I find safety in tv shows or music that is familiar. Episodes of shows that I can recite right along with them.

Sometimes I can write or draw my way to a more stable mental state, but that’s not usually until after I have found the white noise of something familiar to distract me from the super negative voice inside my head.

I love how that “familiar” brings “safety”

I know exactly what you mean!

Familiar = Safe and I love this. I have two movies that are this to me: Joe vs. the Volcano, and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. :)

My safety net changes. For a few years I watched the series Gilmore Girls over and over. After all, I did name my daughter Lorelai. Right now it’s The West Wing.

there is a place I go in meditation, a truly sacred arena in which magnificent dramas unfold + fantastical truths are revealed… there is a river coursing through the landscape, along the western edge.. when I submerge my Self in the waters there, I am suddenly awash in every happy, blissful, transcendently joyful moment I have ever experienced in this realm + others. it is like glitter + music + the most perfectly coolish-warm water splashing over my skin. I am forever powerless to staunch the flow of tears of delight that spring from my eyes as I twirl in the river’s current. I wanted to share that with someone. meditation does it for me.

thank you also for Radio Garden! I showed everyone in the house + only the 7-year-old was excited as I am. she chose a station in Paris for us to listen to while I did her hair. it was wonderful! <3 excited to travel more in this way.

Funny you posted this today! I’ve been yearning to go back to the UK ever since I went in 2019. We’ll this last week was the anniversary from when I was there so it’s always harder this time of year. So this morning I actually listened to a radio station that I played while I was there and the immense joy it brought me!!😭😍 I can get pumpkins for 79p at Tesco! Really did feel like I was there and I could go out and get that pumpkin!

Also, I put on the same radio that my dad plays at his house 1000 miles away. So when I have it on I just feel closer to him. Radio stations are such a wonderful idea!

Oh my gosh, this makes my whole day hearing this. To listen to your dad's radio station 1000 miles away, to feel that close, I love it so much. What a thing. Thank you for sharing both these little bits with me, I so hoped it landed how I thought it could if people gave it a chance.
