Tyler, these (together with the text) are so much fun to view. Thanks for sharing them. They seem to bring a playful pause to the heavy lift of writing in your posts. I used to carry a bag with cameras and lenses everywhere in years gone past. Now I just use my mobile phone. And it is more than just a family joke, that I am actually a ghost because you rarely see a photo of me in any album or collection (other than the formal studio photos). So, my contrarian mind wanted to insert a little haiku story to call out those of us who viewed much of life through a lens…
I'm so glad you enjoy these little diary entries! I agree, I think I need to sprinkle more levity inside the heavy lifting, I think it'll make this place feel better than it hopefully already does. And as for being a ghost, thats 100% me. I have the camera, I'm not in front of it. I prefer it this way. The beauty of the little camera I carry, it never takes me out of the moment, it's so fast to just aim, shoot, and not even think.
The Shoresy Valentine is my absolute favourite! Thank you for sharing! These inspire me to share more sneak peeks of my daily world too! Appreciate you buddy!

Once again, love the photos keep sharing. I love that you wait until the end of the month to check them out. Digital is great for many reasons, but there was something magical about having to wait to see what you captured on film until it was done and developed.
I love the ICE (frozen water cube) logo. I always have. Letters intrigue me especially on signs and in magazines. If you are ever in Cincinnati, look up the sign museum. It's a slice of heaven on earth. The outside is even cool if it's not open when you are around.
Your birthday celebrations all look so cozy. Thanks for sharing these simple moments that really are what it’s all about

“Can you put it down?”
She said to me as I clicked.
“Just watch for yourself.”
The camera guy.
Catch and hold life; before
It passes us by…
I sometimes wonder
How much of my memory
Comes from ink on prints
Living through the lens.
What I call a photograph:
My missed memories
It’s not what you saw.
You captured it in a box.
To see what it was.
Very few photos of me.
Because the camera was
Always in my hands
But yes, I get it.
Photos are for us to share
What other’s miss too!
And since memories
Now start to fade, I get to
See my life again.

I really enjoy these photo dumps; seeing your photo round up and hearing a recap of your month. It always feels cozy!!
Cozy is the aim! Glad I'm delivering on that promise ;)
Beautifully written and pictures are worth millions of words.
Winter has beauty
Just look around and find it
Beauty is within
You're so right, but it's so hard to remember sometimes. Beauty IS everywhere, we just have to find it ;)
I love the photo diary. 🖤
Ahh I am so glad! There are many more, but email length restrictions make me have to cut the corners sometimes.

Hahaha, it's so funny we both went Shoresy hahaha. Mine to her, and hers to me. What a funny thing.

You're so right, digital has its places, but I think there's a way to hack the system so it feels a bit more analogue. I think this is it!
Where that coffee table book of your daily "Gas station" moments, mmmm? These are lovely.
OOOOOOOH, this is a good idea :) Now to find someone to pay for its publication ;)
