Good on you for asking this question of whether one’s life really starts and ends with every relationship? I don’t know. But it sure does keep us warmed up and ready for more.
Within the limits of randomness for events in life (a hopeless defense mechanism in my case), this verse resonates with me. It’s always the pragmatic side of our mind that initiates the ‘chicken or egg’ question among us. Cause and effect are arguably some of the most exhaustive arguments we go thru in life, but when the impact is to our favor, we can rest with a smile on our face. Especially if that favor ends in love. And we all have had someone or something that symbolized the inner warmth and passionate feelings of love that fueled the melting of two hearts into one. Regardless of how recent or long the time has passed, we recognize and appreciate that first spark with another. Especially if those sparks ignited a lasting fire between you both. So, that thought “kindled” up a great song from my past, “Keep the Fire”, by Kenny Loggins from way back in 1980. Here are part of the lyrics:
What a beautiful and loving tribute to Sarah, my two absolute favorite people on social media who bring me so much joy and comfort on dark, trying days. I love your love differently than I love my own love but no less spectacular. Cheers Sarah! Happiest of (belated but continuing) birthdays to you! And to you Tyler for recognizing and celebrating this wonderful woman. 🫶🏻
“Did you start my life?”

“There are those who can foresee
Where we will go
All the future
I don't really want to know
Only that you'll be here with me
While the embers still glow
We'll be safe 'til tomorrow
Keep the fire burnin' tonight
See just what comes into sight
Don't take forever
Take it through the night
And believe the sun
Will rise with the dawn
That's all you need to go on
For tonight
Just keep the fire burnin' bright.”
The best gift. Thank you for this my friend.

This is the highest compliment, in so many ways. Thank you for this. Truly. You're magic, and we're so lucky you're here.
Happy Lady G Day! I hope this month is filled with wonderful things, and that the new trip around the sun brings adventure 💜
I think the day went wonderfully...minus the election sorrow still lingering hahaha.
