Merry Christmas, Tyler! Thank you for starting this newsletter and letting us be a part of it. Your openness and Ho easy are refreshing and I appreciate you so much. You inspired me to start my own newsletter, and itβs been a blast so far. Have a wonderful Eve, and a wonderful Day tomorrow. π

Merry Christmas Eve. Thank you for building this safe space for all of us, and I hope you're rejuvenated by all the love that's present, especially today!
We are all each otherβs cause-and-effect, arenβt we? We can affect each other with love, silence, or less. I will always choose love. Many years ago, Kiet and I gathered some of our friends on Christmas Eve, those who welcomed us, the 2 vagabonds, to yet another new town a few months prior. This has always been a heavy holiday for me, soaked in melancholy, homesickness, and hope. Kiet is an American child, raised on Christmas traditions by Buddhist parents, in whose beliefs we both find a sense of belonging. I, on the other hand, was raised by communists and Catholics. We do not have enough space or time here to go into that discussion of faith. But, I LOVE Christmas Eve. On this night, as we gather our friends at our ever-growing table (tonight, itβs just the two of us), we read poetry instead of scripture before dinner. Tonight, it will be Wendell Berry. But about seven years ago, I stumbled upon chasers of the light collection in a local book shop on Christmas Eve. That evening, we read: βFind the positivity. Find the grace.β You are familiar with the rest. Thank you for the words, inspiration, and love. Thank you for creating the space for us and inviting us to join in. Merry Christmas to all will pass through here. Much love and hope to all of you. Ε½ivjeli! π₯
Oh my goodness, I am sure you wonβt believe me when I tell you that I am reading this on Christmas Day!!! Thank you sweetheart, you are far too kind, but I do love this Holiday season..... I think because it stems back to my childhood and all the magic I remember!
There is magic and goodness everywhere and the need to be thankful and humble is great and so rewarding....I can hear the famous words in my head and heart right now ..... β Ooohhhh my gosh!!!!!β Thankfully for all of us, dad has always been filled with the magic too, which makes it all so vivid forever in my mind ! Being blessed with three beautiful, happy, mischievous and adventurous children, makes the season all the more spectacular in my heart I love you! Merry Christmas!
