For Equality I Will Fight Until I Go | 3.30.21

By now you know, you’re aware, you’re well versed on just how passionate I am on fighting for equality, for demanding human rights to everyone. By now you’ve seen me lose thousands of followers for voicing these opinions, for standing up for LGTBQ rights, for Black Lives Matter, for the voices of those that weren’t born with this unfair privilege I was born with. I call it spring cleaning, I call it purging when people choose to jump ship when I fight for equality, I laugh when publicists at publishing houses warn me against ruffling feathers. “They can’t fly anyway,” I tell them.

I am here to say, again and again, that I will continue these fights, always, until I go, until I’m no more. There’s some awful legislation spreading around these “united” states right now, and there is some particularly terrible, hateful, shameful lawmaking going on in my state of Montana, and this shit will not stand. We will fight, we will raise our voices, and we will demand equality. Always.

For those that stick around, thank you, I see you, I love you. For those that jump ship and swim for some other shore, I hope you find what you’re looking for, and I hope whenever the end comes, you don’t close your eyes thinking you were on the wrong side of history. There’s still time to stay onboard, to open your heart and ears, to listen, to learn, to help. We’re here, join the fight.
