I believe that when we really learn to celebrate our myriad diversity - each of us wholly committed to our authenticity having done the work to self-realize - then our culture will reverberate with harmony and peace, because when we learn to embrace our higher Self, there is only awareness that we are all one. I second your sentiments. I think a lot of people have spent this time reevaluating priorities, I just hope it's enough of a tipping point to create some external shifts moving forward. My fear is that if we can't get to a tipping point, then we face irrevocable catastrophe.
I agree about that tipping point. The division in families has frightened me. Yet I see more dads with kids, more time spent with families because we have been shut down. I hope for this harmony to be a new way to live.
Oh man. I’m feeling this so hard right now. Some days lately feel so incredibly bleak and dark. I feel so disconnected from everything and everyone. And all I want is to be connected.
Generally, I am a person that loves and needs solitude. And loads of it. More than most. However, this last year has been too much. Even for me. Particularly the past 3 months.
I am very grateful for this community. It is a saving grace on really tough days and has gotten me through. Thanks for being here. I love you guys!
I also am someone who loves my solitude and the restless is growing within me...I think we all feel that we are on the cusp of "real life" again. It's been a surreal year.
I'm so thankful that one of the things I love to do most has come back after the year of waiting. Here in Minnesota, we have a strong dog sports community, and they have found a way to efficiently and safely run agility and obedience trials, allowing us to see those friends again, cheer each other on and have fun with our dogs. Slowly, the world is opening up again, and I look forward to the brighter days ahead.
This time in our "COVID isolation" journey feels like the point where, surfing, you feel the wave behind you and begin to move with the ocean. You can feel us moving forward and yet it doesn't seem fast enough at times.

I'm hoping that this pause for all of us has made us look within. Hoping for a peaceful future for us all.

My dog has been my saving grace. Dog people rock!

Breath held, feel the rise
Water pushes me to stand.
I am flying free.

Every single one contains the same notches and tumblers, lock and keys to the heart. Every heart speaks the same beat.
Love is our universal song, as sure as blood and bone encase it.
