December upon us, the time of hibernation, the time of hiding ourselves away from the frost and freeze in order to emerge again when the weather breaks, when the sun returns. I think about this often, living where I live, how Winter becomes the time of deep, deep introspection in Montana, as the darkness comes early and stays late each day. These are the days of window staring, the cold locking us indoors far too often. This got me wondering, and no matter what the weather is like where you are, I’d like to invite you all to join me on this hibernation of introspection. Here goes…
