An exercise I have long championed when asked by the masses about writer’s block has never changed, and probably never will. I say the same thing, repeating it like a mantra, and hope that those who find themselves stymied by their indecision will actually attempt. Put your pen to your paper, I say, and just write, just write whatever comes to your mind, however it comes, and eventually it’ll start to take shape, eventually it’ll find structure, like some sourdough bread ball after its third or fourth stretch and fold. Today, we’re gonna try.
