Wouldn’t it be rad if there was a visible and completely flexible thread that connected us to all of the people and creatures we love? A thread that could stretch infinitely long or shrink proportionately short depending on the proximity we were in to the person on the other side? Wouldn’t it be amazing if we collected all these threads, weightless but tangible, like totems to the life we’ve lived so far. If everyone, every thing had its own color so we eventually became stars bursting into the rest of the world, connected to those who we love as they are connected to others that they love in turn. How soon would we see that we are all simple stops on one giant thread that has interwoven its way through every living creature on this planet? How many times would those threads remind us that the tiniest things we do vibrate the threads of all those we’re connected to?
